Research Opportunities

Here are some opportunities available for you as a member to pursue research in order to expand your expertise!

Provost's Undergraduate Research Scholarship Program (PURS)

UH juniors and seniors are eligible to conduct a one semester-long research project along with a UH faculty mentor. Recipients will receive a $1,000 scholarship.

 

Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship (SURF)

UH sophomores, juniors, and seniors can participate in a 10-week research project during the summer with UH faculty.

 

Research with UH Faculty 

A variety of research opportunities are listed according to the specific subject of the research.

 

Houston Scholars Program

The program provides students with research idea development, faculty mentoring, and discussion seminars. Click here for the Program Application
