Emily Umana

Emily Umana is your 2026-2027 Alpha Epsilon Delta Treasurer. Hello! I am a junior majoring in Health and minoring in Kinesiology. Outside of AED, I enjoy baking, diamond painting and checking out new food spots around Houston. Before joining, the long and rigorous path toward medical school often felt overwhelming, and I constantly worried about whether I was doing enough. Being a part of this organization helped me feel less lost and gave me guidance, encouragement, and a community of people who understood those same challenges. That is why I wanted to become an officer, so that I can continue the accepting community AED has and make us more known across campus.

As this year's Treasurer, I will serve as the safety net for the finances. Ensuring that we are always financially stable, so that we can continuously bring exciting events for our members. In collaboration with the Membership Coordinator, I will take part in running the Intern Program. By the end of the school year, I hope every member walks away with memorable experiences, valuable knowledge, and meaningful friendships through being part of our organization.
