Melody Tran

Meet Melody Tran, your dedicated Reporter for Alpha Epsilon Delta at the University of Houston for the 2024-2025 academic year. Melody is a junior majoring in Biology with a minor in Asian American Studies and Health, she brings a vibrant energy and a passion to build a strong community within our organization. When she’s not immersed in her studies, you can find Melody exploring the great outdoors through hiking national parks, basking in the sun at the beach, and delving into stories of true crimes and mystery. Enthusiastic to contribute to AED, Melody is committed to creating an environment where every member feels seen, heard, and included. With a profound dedication, Melody looks forward to leading and serving alongside each and every one of you.

As the reporter, my primary role is to prepare the chapter’s Cougar scalpel newsletter and send it to our members. I also work on AED's creative media projects such as podcasts and vlogs. In addition, I collaborate closely with the External Affairs Coordinator to coordinate the planning and execution of the Medical Brigade.
